Pasta Shaping Tutorial: Tortellini & Tortelloni

Sour Cherry Tortelloni filled with Chocolate


Many people consider making homemade pasta time consuming and difficult. Well, it's not. All you need is a little practice :)


Tortellini - step 1Tortelloni - step 1

Place some filling in the middle of dough.
Circle for tortellini and square for tortelloni.


Tortellini - step 2Tortelloni - step 2

Fold.


Tortellini - step 3Tortelloni - step 3

Press the edges.

Grab like this.


Tortellini - step 5Tortelloni - step 5

And wrap around your finger.


Tortellini - step 6Tortelloni - finished

Voilà! You're donne.

  21. oh my :-O it's so delicious and beautiful ! I'd been thinking of doing those shapes for long time but managed only the pastas, raviolis and chinese styles :-( Thank you for the tutorial and the pasta machine will see the light again!!!
