Pheasant with bacon and vegetables
1 pheasantjuice of 3 lemons
curry
salt
powdered ginger
powdered rosemary
bacon
1.5 kg potatoes
0.5 kg carrots
2 large onions
2 heads of garlic
Clean the pheasant, season and marinate for 24 hours in lemon.
Coat pheasant with bacon and bake in preheated oven on 180°C for about 1 hour. Then, remove pheasant from baking pan an bake vegetables in meat gravy for about half an hour.

Do you live in Serbia and are your dishes representative of cuisine from your country or foods you've adapted since living in the West [if you do]? I appreciate seeing what I term "peasant dishes" that look so good and always have.
ReplyDeleteYes, I do live in Serbia, but this dish is not representative of cuisine from my country. I make a lot serbian dishes so you can expect posts on them very soon.
