For this edition of kuVarijacije we chose Jamie Oliver's Chicken in Milk recipe from Happy Days with the Naked Chef, suggested by Maslinka. I loved it, though my family didn't like the idea of cinnamon in a savory dish. At the end of the lunch, the whole chicken was gone, so I consider it a success :) The meat was very soft, and the spice combo prefect in my opinion. The only change I made was to add a handful of dried sage as I couldn't find fresh one. And the sauce didn't curdle, as stated in the original recipe, but it thickened and went really well with the mashed potatoes.

ReplyDeleteStvarno predivno izgleda. Baš mi je žao što nisam stigla sudjelovati ovaj mjesec jer ne znam kome je bolje ispalo ovo jelo. Vidim da se večini i svidjelo, a mene je toga bilo najviše strah jer moj dragi ne podnosi mlijeko! :)
