800 g European hake fillets
1 clove garlic
flour
sage
juice of 1 orange
40 g almond slices
30 g butter
salt
ground black pepper
orange slices for decoration
Grill almond slices in oven for about 2-3 minutes. Roll the fish into flour.
Melt butter on low heat, add pressed garlic and sage. Fry fillets for about 2-3 minutes on both sides or until they're done. Add salt and pepper and pour in orange juice. Continue to cook everything until sauce thickens, sprinkle with almonds and serve with orange slices.
Note: I made this dish as a part of Sale & Pepe Tasting Team for November 2008 issue and I'm sending it to the Weekend Herb Blogging, event created by Kalyn and from now on managed by Haalo from Cook (almost) Anything at least Once, hosted this week by Wiffy from Noob Cook.
A delicious combo! your dish looks really good!
